Pro-Mix Ultimate Organic Mix ?

Yes I have used that occasionally in the past before Promix introduced Organik MP, which is cheaper for me to get in bales. They seem to be about the same but I think I remember the Ultimate Organic had a little more perlite, both need more added for small trees, no verm though so that is good. I have been making my own mixes for figs but still use the MP in a pinch since I have it around for veggie seedlings.

I picked up some of this at Maynard's. Should it be a 50/50 mix with course perlite based on the existing ingredients or does something else really need to be included as well?

 I bought a couple bags of that soil last year. I mixed it with extra perlite and used it for potting up from a cup. That was the only time I used it, so I can't say for sure how good it is. I know I didn't have any problems with it.
