anyone growing Ischia Green USDA/UCD?

just want to hear what they think of it.

I have several at the 1 gal stage.  They root very well from cuttings and are growing well.  The donor tree is 12-15 yrs old and produces very well.  This is a good fig for Northeast Texas.

there are few different source for Ischia Green. i know there was one that one of the member from TX used to send out. i know that one is rather good. i had few cuttings and they all died. two i have left is from USDA/UCD. they grow poorly, but it seems not worse than some others this yr. it's only one with figs ripening right. wants to know if other who sourced from USDA/UCD is having any luck.

I have 2 that was rooted from a broken limb of a tree from Home depot that was just labeled as "Ischia".  I believe them to be Ischia Green.  Won't know for sure for another year or two.  But they are growing great!  I'll be bringing one of them to the Fig Meeting in Marshall Texas.

I have the one they grow at Monticello and it's a pretty good fig.

well, we had good rain last night, and some wind. the container got knock off and the fig is damaged. oh.. i'll still take it off and take a bite later today. but just not my yr. lol
