I'd like to give the guy who was so generous to me a Lattarolla since I hear it's better than a Lattarula.  Anyone have one for sale?

I have both varieties but haven't tasted the Lattarolla yet. I received the cuttings from Ed (thank you) and now the trees are 2 years old and loaded with fruit that I am looking forward to tasting any day now. I will then be able to compare the two for myself.

I know Barry had a figs off of his. Maybe he can post taste opinion.

Mine won't be producing until next year

I am not as well practiced as many here with tasting of figs as I have yet to taste all of those premium figs, but for what it's worth, I definitely prefer Latarolla to Latarulla. For me Latarolla is richer and with a more figgy taste. My tree was planted in ground last year so it is not very mature, but I am getting at least one and up to 4 figs per day. And since these are pretty big figs, you would probably have to pick 4 times as many VDBs to equal the fig volume of each Latarolla.
