Seeing the spelling you provided helped... finding lots of info now, about Columbaro Bianco, Columbaro Nero, Columbara Puglia, Columbara viola, and a few others. Thanks!
I wonder what these are like. The Bianco and Nero are both described as large, which is what my dad also said. He said he used to eat these in Calabria, Italy. But that was 1929 (left when he was 5 or 6), so I was impressed with his memory of the fig variety. Do you have any of this variety?
