I am placing an order from Hawaii for a few tropical fruit trees and I noticed that they are selling this type of fig. I have never heard of it so I was hoping one of you guys might have some thoughts about it. Thanks.

Who are you ordering from. Do they have a website?

It is called Frankies Nursery. They only sell a few figs, but they have some tropicals that can not be found anywhere else. Shipping is expensive though.

I know Adriano has it and Im pretty sure Bass also has it.

What do you think of the fruit? Is it one of your better ones?

I got it to fruit in its first year. The fruit ripened in the greenhouse for me. Its a very large fig, was a bit watery since there was a lack of heat. I will have to see what it does this year. Its the commercail variety in Brasil.
