I have read a lot about this fig and decided I have to give it a try but it seems very tough to find. Anyone know of an online source for these plants?

There are three different ones, the Gris, Blanc, and Negra. The white is available as scion from UC Davis, and negra and gris via private collector. What is your zone? These trees need lots of sun and heat.

I am in central FL Z9, so no lack of heat for me. I'll check what is involved with ordering from UC Davis. Thanks.

I wonder why UC davis uses only next day delivery? Seems like second day would be fine. Not sure if I am ready to spend $70 on cuttings since the Col de dame is the last tree I have space for. Just have to keep looking.

When I order from them I put implicit instructions for 2-3 day shipping and not overnight. They will do that if you request it.
