I have a small bundle of Celeste cuttings that I received with some other cuttings.  I already have a Celeste tree and don't intend to grow another.  Anyone need some Celeste cuttings?  I can ship them for just the cost of postage.

Not all strains of a variety are the same. You may have 2 strains of Celeste but they are not necessarily the same. One may produce more fruit or be more vigorous than the other even if the fig tastes the same. Food for thought.

Grow a couple and see, finding a home for tree later on its always easy if you end up not wanting them in the future.

Cuttings are spoken for.  Currently have a couple of members with an interest in the cuttings.

Them (mysterious) Celeste &  BT figs were/are still the most grown figs here in USA.

Once; Jon did ask for any 'Celeste' fig cuttings for him to experiment with, and do some sort of comparison.
I did contribute, and 'somewhere' in this FF, there should be a thread about this subject...
(some ~20 of them Celeste.)

As for the BT fig; it is a known fact that this is the most default 'abused' fig-name ever.

Cuttings have been shipped, so it's too late for me to do any experiments on them.  Didn't realize there could be so much variability amongst "Celeste" figs.  I suppose it would have been fun to see to grow them out to see if they were any different than my current Celeste, but I'm equally happy to pass them on to someone with more time and space for them.
