     i have some white delicious italian figs from sicily
and a beautiful dark fig from the cilento area,(suited for potted culture)
by next week i'll prune and will have cuttings.
anyone on long island or the nyc area want to trade cuttings.
 i'm looking for any italian , portuguese or greek varieties.
especially if there are any from the naples or calabria areas of italy.
the white figs i have are a nice size very vigorous grower and have a sweet
light pink inside. the dark cilento is to die for but requires more care
and proper pruning.

Ciao Marcantonio, Happy thanksgiving today.  I only have fig varieties from Abruzzo ( My Home ) Lazio, and from Sicily.  I will think of you when I come across Calabrese or Napoletano.  Do you have any greek varieties?  I was wondering about the Vasiliki, I don't know if I'm spelling right?  Get back and make sure you eat ALOT!  Ciao, Maggie
