Good day, went to garden supply gala yesterday. There were several vendors there advertising their products. One that sold me was Vermicrop. They had 3 products on display. The one that I bought was Vermifire. They gave me a free bag of Vermisoil. I got 2 Green Ischia. I plan on putting these 2 trees to the test. One using Vermifire and one using Pete's Potting mix. Both will be in self watering containers. Anyone using Vermifire? Here is their website; http://www.vermicrop.com/products
Be prepared for these mushrooms to show up in your pots :)
Thanks Bob! Looks like you and I are the only ones using this product. It is expensive....$20 bucks a bag. I plan in covering the pots with 3ply black plastic. That should keep the mushrooms out.
Thanks for posting about what your trying.Have you ever heard of another expensive product thats also organic called Dr. Earth.
I don't use it, those are the fruit bodies of some of the beneficial fungi they put in there. They're very distinctive. They may fruit under the plastic.
Were you happy with the results from your vermisoil?
