Are these Breba or Main Crop.

Thanks to Northeastnewbie, I am pretty postive these are main crop figs because they are on new growth. I just want to double check because I didn't have any breba on old wood, but the trees I bought last year were kept pruned pretty pretty small, so if there wasn't any of last years wood left then there won't be any breba? If they are main crop and forming now it would take about three months for them to ripen?

those are main crop figs depending on where you live it can take anywhere between 70-80 days to ripen more or less.

Breba's grow on previous years growth. Generally below the leaves

Thanks Nelson. Now I just have to wait 80 days!

Brebas would form below the first leaves to emerge this season. Fruit growing between the leaf stem and the branch are main crop.

The purple fig is a breba, the rest are main crop.
