Assistance in info on old Felix Gillet catalog varieties

Some of you are familiar with the history of the Felix Gillet Institute ("FGI") and the importance of the introduction of may fruits introduced by Felix Gillet in the late 19 and early 20th centuries.  FIG founder Amigo Cantisano and his associate Adam came by for a quick visit of my place about a week ago.  Later, Amigo wrote me the following message and I'm asking if others can help develop answers to these questions.

I have Dotatto so no need to address that one further.

Thanks,

Harvey

Harvey,

Thanks so much for showing us your great collection! Adam and I had a great time and we hope to visit again as more fruit gets ripe.

I have some questions related to our search for variety ID from Gillet's introductions. We have not found adequate ID of the following varieties, which are also not in the USDA collection. We also checked for synonyms ala Condit without success in the USDA collection. We keep finding figs we can't ID and need further assistance with ID ability.

The varieties are:

Black of San Jose  (according to Condit this is not Black Mission)

Date     aka Datil, Datte, Dattero, Dottato, Datto

French Paillarde    aka Franche Paillard

Juane Longue

Magdalen

Napolitaine  aka Neopolitan

Noirmoutier  aka Noir Moutier

White Magdeleine  aka White Magdalen

Do you have any known sources of either ID photos or descriptions, or people offering these plants for sale, or other ideas where we might learn how to ID these?

Also have you found any particularly useful books or online resources for ID of fig varieties?

Thanks so much Harvey!

Amigo

I tried to Google the given names and the first I got pointed me to the Eisen's publication which says that
Juane Longue is Long Yellow. If that LY is what we know now than you have a starting point.
I will try the other names too
