Had first ripe EL Sals this morning and it was very good, im going to compare taste again this year against my Hardy Chicago, last year Hc won the taste test.
Looking at my notes from last year figs are a week later than last year.

No i did not Cecil :)~ but i caught him going for my D. Portuguese (no damage) this morning which is in small container now and doing well. I should have used common sense before and kept it up higher so he cannot reach it. So now the new ones are out of his reach. Him and his buddie the lhasa apso did a fine job on pruneing the already spent peony stems. It was rather funny i hate to say seeing him run around with a stem bigger than him.
