Atreano 2013

I want to like this fig but I have not...yet. It needed a few more days to get ripe but a little birdy (let's call him Bulger) got to this one pretty quickly. It was never in the fig protection program. Its siblings will be.

Mine looks different than yours especially the first pic. Next month when they ripen I will take some pics for you. They are definitely delicious if you can control the water during ripening or let them hang for a bit. Atreanos hold on pretty good.

Atreano is currently on my keep list unless something fantastic knocks it out. It also has a fairly productive breba crop that is tasty. Herman2 did a nice write up about it. His pics are similar to my tree as well.

My is the RR version and it is very productive.  Some of them are really good and some of them are half sweet on the bottom part and watery on the top part.   Mine looks similar.
