Atreano

This was from a cutting from Kerry (Driveway Farmer). It was tasty, crunchy, sort of indescribable light sweet figginess. I don't know what is wrong with my photos, but it's probably better to view the thumbnails.

Nice work Donna, this will become an excellent tasting fig as it matures

With my camera it is best to take the photo around 3 feet from the object and then zoom in to get a close-up.  Anyway, it looks like a tasty fig - I'm looking forward to getting fruit off of mine next summer.

Donna,
Your green thumb is showing , from cutting to fruit in the first season.
I've found that Atreano is best tasting for me when it turns more yellowish and develops lots of skin cracks.
More than any other variety that I've tried  , Atreano needs to be very very ripe to show its best flavor.
Last year I was happiest with the taste when I waited until it was what I thought was dead ripe and then waited another week before picking it !

Thanks for the tip about the photos Rewton, I will try it, I have this new Sony Cybershot that I don't know how to use. Kerry, I will let the next one droop and crack to the max. This is fun!

This one is currently at the top of my list. Congrats.
