Auction to benefit the Foundation?

Protect those fingers, I want to see the finished product, high skills, a lot of work, can't wait. This is going to be a great auction.

When will the auction begin. I am counting my change.

:)

Btw my father and I have done the same project. We bought the logs and had them cut and then rik'd them to dry.
Walnut, cherry, fiddle back maple and oak. I don't recall the board feet but I think that total it was 8000 pounds before they were dried.

We still have 20 inch wide by 1 inch thick and 18 feet long walnut boards in the basement in that $h1+ hole that is in the Midwest.

$h1+hole, you store them in an outhouse???? What is fiddle back maple? I have seen all the rest. Love walnut and cherry.

Had a maybe 800 pounds of it at one time. Very nice wood. Our lumber mill in MI always picked the frek'n coldest gawd damn day to call us and tell us they will be cutting our logs that day. We would spend all day hauling them back to the house and feeding the wood thru the 1x2' basement window marking and rik'ing them. Good grief. I hate that place.

Wood has so much character.  Northern cherry is of higher quality but because southern cherry (which is the exact same tree)  grows so fast it tends to have more character.  Here is another board I made.  I consider it a ink blot test:)  Everyone sees something different.  There are two arrows,  the lower one shows the location and the upper arrow is that same thing blown up.  Look at the portion I blew up and what do you see?

Dogs face

Looks like an alien or a turtle standing on it's back legs.

A basset hound.

I see a big set of lips.

Lol! Me too.

Claddagh. Look at the top ( crown), middle is the heart, and hands are holding it in place...I could be way off, though.

Panda.

Hi! Dave,

Is this your butcher block? This butcher block has a tremendous negative energies. I saw dark beings licking on it and wondering around this table. This butcher block is very haunted. It gave me a slightly headache when I looked at it and I felt an extremely negative and malevolent energies coming from it. I hope this one is not your.

Best,
Tam

Looks fantastic Wills!

Dogs face with a crown.

An image of Elvis on a grilled cheese sandwich? =)

Love all the opinions.  To me it looks like a cat wearing a triangle shaped pirates hat.

Wills, what glue do you use for your cutting boards?

Looks like several bills to me.

Harvey,
