There is also Violette de Bordeaux cuttings that are this years wood but THICK, 3/4 to 1" diameter.  It is from my step overs and you know how vigorous that strain is.  

I'm in. I remember the photos of that duck-poo-eatin', Jack's bean stalk monster.
This is perfect opportunity to get a more productive strain of a must-have variety.
