Bêbera Preta almost ripe

Here are some photos of my Bêbera Preta been growing it 3 years now and it's finally ripening some figs I just hope It can stay on long enough to get the skin cracks before ants and squirls steal them.

Nice fig Nelson. You got the perfect timing and angles
Very nice picture
Similar as our equivalent.
Look forward to see the inside

Beautiful!!

Congrats, Nelson, and thanks for sharing!

Good job Nelson! Very nice figs
They have developed quite well for your location
You need now to grow the 'Bêbera Branca' to complete the pair!

Francisco

Thanks everyone, the flavor well this has been a bad year and thecool weather is not allowing the figs to taste it's best but even then, it was like a cross between a mission and vdb.

Francisco I believe the bêbera Branca I have from Madeira is actually a form of pingo de Mel I know the pics you posted are of the real Bebera Branca i think for the most part the fig we call bêbera Branca in Madeira might be dotatto main difference I found between the pingo de Mel I have and bêbera Branca and kadota is mostly the pulp color my bêbera Branca has carmine pulp while the other two have more of an amber color pulp bêbera Branca is by far the sweetest and drips honey from then ostiole when fully ripe.

Wow, they are big, nice pics.

Getting better

Thanks for sharing a dark fig picture .  ; )
Need more of them.

Lol Martin I love them all but I'll try as they ripen ill post pics.
