Whether JC is really a kid on not is irrelevant. The "bait kids" used by "To Catch a Predator" are not really children. Do you think the pedo's should be excused because they were tricked into thinking they were sexting with a 13 year old?

You may be honestly mistaken and think JC is a threat Keith, or you may be using the uncertainty that exists about every member here to bully a child. I don't mean to insult you, or even imply that is what you are doing. Intentions cannot be judged, only actions. Right now you are the aggressor.

JC, you have been doing a better job of being respectful, thank you.

Sorry to get off topic.  I'm in the same boat here.  The Unk Yellow Greeks are doing really well along with the Unk Lake Spur.  Had to raise the lights all the way up yesterday.

I totally missed whatever went on, but my mom always told me to "just ignore it". Sooo thats what I do. A lot. But it keeps me out of trouble. I know you can't always do that, but in most cases its possible. Anyways, I'm very thankful for everyone here and their experiences and knowledge. It definitely helps! That's all :)

I absolutely mean to insult you hoosierbana.  That is one of most disgusting posts I have ever seen.  Where in the world do you equate this to "sexting with 13 year olds"  How dare you make a statement like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That is totally out of place and extremely offensive.  I mean extremely offensive.  You need to apologize to this forum, JC ( I know that sounds weird) and me.

Argue with ideas Keith, not insults. Bullies shout people down. I will not apologize for my analogy, it is valid.

You have never given JC a chance to learn from his actions. You say that this is a place for kids "if they realize" but then go to blame JC for something that happened months ago and has not repeated. So you are still blaming him for not realizing, after he has shown signs of learning from his mistakes? Do you learn from your mistakes Keith?

"A garden requires patient labor and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them."

I wish it was always true. I am so tired of the weeds in my garden after they banned those sprays.....

Good grief! Eat a Hershey bar or something guys! All this strife is not only unpleasant, it is totally boring!

Meanwhile, here's what's on my mind. Let me bore you, but in a gentle way that will lull you to sleep. Make zzzzs not war!

1. Why oh why did the red oil paint marker "labels" melt off my fig starts? Am I going to be able to figure out what is what?

2. Will my Violet Sepor make me some heavenly figs this year? Are they really as good as Dennis said?

3. Should I be bringing in the little guys on the cold days, ala Rafael?

4. Will I ever get a Gene Hosey Paradiso? Do you know that Gene Hosey actually answered my email? He said, just mention it on the Forum and a miracle will occur. The Forum will hook you up. Hrrumph.

5. Can I figure out how to keep off the dastardly squirrels this summer?

6. Now that I am 60, is there any chance that I will be able to change into somebody with a real work ethic?

(It would be nice to morph into one of those hobbyist workaholics. Someone with an incredible front yard like something from a magazine. You know the type. A wizened but sprightly old lady, puttering outside all day, wearing the big sun hat, hoeing away from dawn to dusk. Drinking her unsweetened ice tea. In back of her are a lot of home made hoop houses and other crafty stuff. In other words, someone more like Harvey (however Harvey is a PROFESSIONAL! I just would like to emulate his energy, which I saw first hand, unflagging even in temps pf 102!) Or Barry. Etc etc etc. I really should have thought up some female examples sorry Harvey and Barry. But I digress.)

7. That's it folks! Come on get happy!!!

IME, a gapless cage is necessary to ensure squirrel protection success.  They are persistent buggers.  On the other hand, squirrels aren't that bright, so you can at least get some amusement from them with a squirrel launcher.
