Barada

I really like this fig. It's one of the sweetest honey type figs, unlike other honey figs I've had that tend to be watery, this one has a rich flavor.
Here's a little history,
It comes from the historic village of Sidnaya in a mountainous region around Damascus. Known to be a historic christian town, where the language of the christ is still spoken there.

Looks great bass, I just don't know how people only have dark figs.

That looks great Bass.  Very interesting history. 

Looks like those turkish grape syrup and walnut candies, if it tastes half as good as those (which it looks like it tastes better) then my mouth is watering.

Looks fantastic. So full of pulp, and precious seeds. Not sure I've seen an unpollinated fig like that before, superb fig!

I think that I had that fig specimen once; unfortunately it died on me before it fruited.
