Looks good, Angelo!

Will there ever be another Belleclare for fig lovers, and collectors?  I started to become aware of different fig varieties just as Belleclare was closing its doors, but I did have the pleasure of talking to Chris.  He taught me a lot about figs, and my first granular limestone came from his nursery.

Miss them.

Is this your homeland?  If so it must be a great feeling eating figs that you ate when you were a kid.

Hello Angelo.
That makes my mouthwater.
Enjoy

Angelo, that is a good looking fig. I like those large white figs with red centers!!

Now I want one those too!!  Looks dee-lish!!

As a kid I would climb huge trees in my fathers' orchard. I would eat figs till my belly hurt ,I was told. Yes, Bari Italy is my hometown.Vito ,I would have treated you with some of these at the figfest, but they were not quite ready.Barry, there is definitely something special about those white figs with red interior. Then again I find something special about all figs. Thanks for the comments,  everyone.   Angelo
