This is one of my favorites from last year. My wife and I both gave it at 9. Nice and sweet with a nice berry flavor. The one on the right was laying in the pot. It was still very good, but I'd have left on the branch a day.

They get so heavy, and the flesh is so crisp they just break themselves off sometimes. The fig in my avatiar pic was one I rated ne plus ultra aka. über tasty.
Art, very nice again. How old is your tree? I have a three year old about six feet tall in a 10 gal pot that hasabout 25 figs but none ripe yet. It will be its first year to fruit if it finally gets its act together.
Brent, Yeah you are so right. That's the third one to do that. They've been all good. And thanks again for my start. One of our favorites.
Mike, I got this as a cutting in the 2012/13 winter. I've got to say it's one of my best growing trees. It's in a 45 gal pot. I've heard it's a slow grower. It is one of my best looking trees.
Marius posted not to long ago that Barnisotte Noir was his best producer this year.
Made me add it to my wish list!
Another absolute beauty Art- thanks for posting pics and flavor profile !
Looks good, Art.You're on top of the World now. Enjoy.
Mine had a slow start, my own fault I am sure. It lost it's top being stored in an unheated greenhouse this last winter also, but it does look very healthy and happy to grow this year.
Way top go Art, that fig looks super. Thanks for sharing.
I know it's a long shot, but did yours come from Durio's Nursery? I have a feeling there many with this name.
I believe that the member who sent it to me, got his from UCD.
This is a nice black fig Francisco
Sounds and looks good Art thanks for posting
My Barnissotte Noir(Baud) yesterday...
Marius, what a nice cluster. I bought a Barnissotte from this spring and it went kaput, so if you have any extra cuttings this fall then I would be glad to purchase a couple. Thanks.
