Baskinta Brown (labeled Unknown Lebanese Brown). Two logs from Vern C in November 2011. Thanks Vern. Now more than eight feet tall, grounded, unpruned, and getting only about 5 hours max of sunlight daily. I was shocked to find these two figs because the birds missed them. They were figgy but not juicy nor memorably sweet. As you can see, they crack nicely. In the hopes of a more productive life, I will prune it as well as the tree causing the shade. Highly rated [No]. Taste [Good because it was not bland tasting and watery like some golden looking figs can get; yes you Celeste]. Productive [Not sure]. Keep [For now]. Update 20130810. Vern confirmed that there are only two varieties, Baskinta Brown and Baskinta Purple.
