Bataglia Green Verte

i am new to the forum. i just purchased a "tiger Panache" fig, and that started me researching different varieties. i live in Sonoma, Ca and many years ago i had a small green fig (bush) that had the most wonderful figs. it tasted like raspberry jam. when i move i took some cuttings but they failed. i just came across a description for the Bataglia fig and it sounds similar to my former raspberry fig. is there anyone who is familiar with this fig (Bataglia). is it available in CA? the link i found is to a grower in North Carolina. according us the usda i am in zone 10b. the grower listed the growing zone for this plant 7-9. does that mean it needs a colder winter than Sonoma?

Not at all.Battaglia will love Sonoma county climate,I know the fig and I know the climate in Sonoma, because I was there.
Yes That is the proper fig for Sonoma climate.

thank you

Here are a couple of pictures of my Battaglia Green. I had a really hard time getting it to ripen for me here in zone 5. I no longer have it.
