Battaglia

They look amazing Congrats!
How was the taste?

Very sweet, strawberry/berry flavor

Hey Rich, that looks amazing. How old is the tree?  I have a proposition for you, when time comes, I would trade a cutting of Pastiliere for your bataglia.  It needs to be just one so I can graft, and does not need to be big.  My pastiliere has  dropped the fruits for me in Seattle, but has done wonders for Igor, in So. Cal.

Our tree is 2 years old. I will root cuttings this winter from it.

Great fig. Probably one of the best white figs, along with Adriatic JH and CdD Blanc.

Nice looking fig

Battaglia is definitely a sport of another tree. It grows in all kinds of strange directions leading me to believe that it originated from a branch on a tree some where that mutated for some reason. Its a very good growing, producing  and hardy fig. It survived 20f in my garage this winter with little or no dieback.

Hi Rich.
That's a beautiful fig, enjoy.

Battaglia Green looks more than a little like White Madeira:

I wouldn't be surprised if they are the same, but I don't know.
