Rafael & Will,
It is breba. There are several more that have an interest in ripening. I will edit the initial post to make that point clear.

Gene,
It had Level 1 Fig Protection so the two nights of heavy rains had minimal effect. Still the taste was ok. I know it is an excellent green-red fig. The main crop will exhibit a richness, depth of flavor, and slight crunch that exceed well known dark figs. This breba, however, pales in comparison to the main crops that are currently ripening for me in 8B, e.g., Kilmartin Celeste, Foxcroft Celeste, Stallion, Baskinta Brown, and Hardy Chicago.

Thanks, I will not know anything about taste on the BG until next year. Mine is only about 12 high now.

Last year my BG was tied for #1. It was fantastic. This year I let my bigger plant grow up to 10 feet tall and I go out and exam mine every day at least 2x. There is no other fig I am more excited about even though my Col de Dame B and N (the other 2 varieties tied for first place) are having bumper crops this year and my CdD N brebas were incredible.

I second (or third or fourth) the comments about Battaglia Green.  In 2013 it was a winner here.  Can't wait for the 2014 edition (but that's going to be a while here yet... it's a great fig but not an early one, at least here in zone 5a).  Great pics too, as seems to be true of all your pics.
