Bayenfeige Violetta breba

It's hard to describe the taste of this one. It didn't have any crunch at all.
It had a nice refreshing taste, maybe a bit of melon taste. It was nice and sweet.
Surely a keeper!

Art,

Thanks for showing to us, especially that German variety ;-)

My Violetta's dropped all their brebas this year (only a year old) but main looks strong so far...
Put two of 'em in ground lately...

If you wanna be 100% correct, add a "r" to the Bayen so you get "Bayern" which is the german name for Bavaria.

Who knows why Alfons Plattner calls it "Violetta" and not "Brownetta" :-)

How do you pronounce. Bayernfeige? Looks good

Absolutely fig-tastic, Art!  You definitely have quite the collection.  Mahalo for posting those awesome pics!

Thanks Christian, I almost spelled it that way. I have it written down in my fig journal spelled with the R.

Nate, Thanks for the compliment.
I've been downsizing the past few weeks. I got rid of 30+ this past week. They were decent sized trees.
