BB-10 for Yellow Neeches trade anyone?

Don't ask me why I want this fig so bad but I have been looking for years and can not find it so if anyone out there wants to trade a rooted BB-10 for a rooted Yellow Neeches let me know!

Wait one more year my friend and I think you will see them around like never before

Why's that, coop?

Because the cats out of the bag. Plenty BB 10's will be available...and some might be the real thing ;)

I'm assuming you want a Yellow Neeches but the way it reads I could certainly be wrong.
Are you looking for YN or BB10?

coop951,
I must also chime in with ross - Why's that?

But again -- which fig are we talking about. I absolutely love my Yellow Neeches trees. There just reached the age where the figs are wonderful.
I've never had a BB10 and have wasted tons of time involved in trades that never happened. I'm interested to see what the BB10 will turn out to be - and whether its any good here where I grow.

Grant I PM'ed you.

Yes, to clear things up I have 16 BB-10s rooting from Dan that will be ready in spring! I am looking for Yellow Neeches, sorry it does appear to be the other way around.

I guess I misread that too.
My comment on the availability of bb10 next year is due to the large number of cuttings Dan released this year. I too purchased a lot from Dan and he was quite generous with the number sent and the size of the cuttings. I believe many of those who bought some will be happy to recoup some of the original costs once the cuttings turn into plants
So my guess is that these will hit the Ebay shelves in just a few months. The provenance of these plants are a big plus in these somewhat uncertain times

Jon has YN.  You could ask him.  There's debate on whether it's good or not.  Jon would probably sell it for a few dollars.

I asked Jon and he does not have it.He had it up for auction last year on ebay but I was out bid, he did not list it this year so I Asked him if he had it and he said doubtful? Anyways the response has been overwhelming so I am sure I got 1 on the way!

Thanks,
Grant

I have YN. But it is small.

Yellow Neeches is an amazing refreshing fig. Reminds me of tropical fruit. My tree is fairly large but had major root pruning in the fall. Last year more than half of the figs from my tree were double mule (mutated) figs. I posted quite a bit about it on Rafed's fig group Facebook page. It is one of my favorite figs!
