Look great- Round about age?

The trees are all around 2-3 years old.

nice work

Jose, how did your trees fare after the below zero weather in early February?

P&I,

This was prob the worst cold snap in my history (34 yrs old)... It killed all my trees to the ground including my Rosemary, but they all made it back because I heavily mulch. What you see is growth from 0-5ft tall. So, if we have a mild winter, my trees could become huge next season.

Impressive number of trees you have planted in ground. May I ask how far apart they are planted from each other? Also, do you keep any in containers?
Enjoyed watching the pictures. Thank you for posting them.

Navid.

My trees in ground right now are all mother trees. They are spaced approx 6 feet apart. I plan on keeping them pruned to stay squatty and compact. I keep some in containers (4 containers), but maintaining the 100s of pots in our high desert heat was alot of work. So, I spent 2 weeks putting them in-ground. They even survived our 18 degree F cold snap or ~ -8C cold snap.

The Rosso di Trani, Naples White, Col de Damma Gris, and Brogiotto Bianco now have ~5 inch circumference trunks!

Thanks loslunasfarms. If I did not had a soft spot for older trees, I would get rid of the old Oak trees at the back of my property and plant all of my figs there. But, most likely that will not happen and I will be growing them in their containers. And few in ground.
Please do post more pictures of your orchard. I am sure everyone including me would like to see them.

Attached a picture of one of those big boys (White Oak, 80+ feet tall)
