What is this dark purple one? Wonder if you just stare at its beauty or you eat it?

I trialed it twice ,and grew 2 trees.
Good Tasting,but totally not cold hardy,possible from the kind of Fig mosaic virus it is infected with.

Herman, my tree shows no signs of fmv and is a vigorous grower. If you want to try a third time, I would be happy to supply you with a plant or cuttings.

Thanks FMD,but will not grow again because you are in Florida and it is warm enough not to die in Winter,but here it is too cold for this kind of cultivar.
Plus is watery when it ripe here possible from unsuitable Summer season for this ,cultivar.

FMD Can you tell as more characteristics about this cultivator please. From the picture looks very very nice. Do they split in rain, how is the test.

My Beall produced few figs this year for the first time. They were very good. It's definitely a keeper.

Sunriver, I do believe your pictures are of the Beall fig. Herman2 would be a much better judge, though.

Eden13, Beall figs are large, figgy, sweet and juicy. They hold up to the rain better than most cultivars that I've experienced.

Yes if it is originating from UCD Cuttings is Beall.
The fruits are not  totally ripe that is why it is almost white inside,and should be yellow.

Hold up to the rain, figgy, sweet, juicy and big  good reasons to be on my wish list.

Yue, the more sun it gets the darker it becomes but never black. The picture above appears darker than it really is due to reflection, shadows etc.
