Here is my little baby this is the only survivor out of the 5 cuttings I started, I did not grow for over 3 months and last 3 weeks have put out 4 leaves.

Not sure if I am remembering right, but  you had two types that you were trying to root right? Were you able to get one of each to root?

Martin I will definately post pics as it grows this summer I just started giving it a little Liquid fertilizer about 1/4 strength I dont want to take any chances.

John yes I was also rooting two cuttings of the Black Variety wich both rooted and unfortunately my mom knocked over one of them later on while vaccuming the office here and snapped the small plant in half, about a month later it just dried up and died. But still have this one from my greatgrandfathers tree and one of the black.

Thanks Sal, I will definately post pics of the tree as it grows. The baby's due date is March 21st but the way my fiances belly droped in the last couple days and cramps im thinking its coming out early lol probably in the next week. Will deifnately post pics of the baby I cant wait to see it, will definately be teaching he or she not sure yet about figs as soon as it understands what im talking about lol.

Thanks Paul, Its been allot of fun playing with figs and I dont have any intentions of stoping any time soon. I dont think Im gonna try to break yours & Adriano's record but who knows with all the help you, Adriano & Akram been giving me it just might happen someday in the future when I actually sell the condo and buy a house, then I have a feeling things will get out of hand. But to get a collection like you guys have it will take me a long long time, the good thing though is that there are more and more Canadian's with growing Collectiions wich is very exciting to see.
