You can pick up in September at Staten Island fig festival.
Yeah, he has nice BC plants. Very descriptive in his listing also. Can I buy some at the meetup? Or I have to buy from ebay now and wait to pick them up?
Sal. If he has one on Ebay that you want, go for it, I wouldn't wait until September to get it, he might not have it then? Vito
When I have time I've been trying to figure out which trees were the most notable from BC. I'm not sure which ones i might like also.
Hi fellows, bc do sound really nice but, unfortunately I'm running out of room, lol.
Here's one that's for sale now. It's called Staten Island Bomb and it's a good one. I just picked them today. (Main crop)

And seems to know his figs quite well! -gotta love that!
Hi and somewhat new to this. What does authentic Bellecare figs mean? Does that mean original fig came from the Bellcare nursury that was in Plainview NY? Are these cuttings? Are there varieties named Bellecare for sale? Thanks!
Hi Barry! indeed, Bellcare refers to that famous nursery. The figs in this particular discussion refer to a few plants on sale currently on Ebay. Here is a link to the mentioned gentleman (Pete).http://www.ebay.com/sch/figman1peter/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
I would encourage anyone to buy his Col de Dame Noir and Grise plants as they come from Belleclare stock and not UC Davis orchard and are extremely healthy growers.
I just got the gris!
I just got the Staten island bomb.
