Bending fig branches

I am planning to put 2 trees in ground on the south side of my house, step-over style for easier winter protection, plus I like the look.  I plan to plant Hardy Chicago and Brown Turkey.

The HC I plan to use has 2 main trunks about 4 ft tall, I started the tree from cuttings in January.  Will I be able to bend them over to 1 ft next spring?  If not, I will use a different HC that I will prune this winter and start with 2 new shoots off the main trunk.

Thanks for any advice.

If possible you could gradually start the training now or over the winter to see if the trunks are flexible enough.  Usually if you bend a little at a time and anchor it at the new position, young growth can be bent to your plan.

Watch the distance from the house foundation. Find out how close is too close for root damage.
