bendy branch

Some of my trees have got some wonky branches, such as this one.  They're all young trees with young branches.  Is this shape going to be a problem when it's older?  Should I cut it, or maybe try to tie it down to straighten it out?

Some varieties are more prone to growing odd shaped branches. What varietal is that?

Conadria.  It has another similarly shaped branch higher up which I would think I could train straighter, but I just realized that if I tried to straighten that bottom one it would go right into the rim of the pot.  So I could leave it alone, or cut it off.....

figs are very forgiving. You can bend, cut, shape almost any way you want.

If it really bugs you make it an air layer.
