Best African, or other Non-Carica ?

So, ive seen people grow a few Ficus types from Africa and elsewhere,
which are not F. Carica.
like Ficus benghalensis, F. religiosa, F. obtusifolia, F auriculata etc...

which one of those tastes best
and are any as good as , lets say a run-in-the-mill Celeste ?
and,  ones which do not need a wasp to produce an edible fruit.

All wild Ficus species need their associated pollinating wasp in order to produce ripe fruit. All of them...

Ficus hirta is nice... Ficus deltoidea is strange and small.
Ficus auriculata is OK but I prefer Ficus racemosa among the subgenus Sycomorus... F. religiosa... Cotton taste but maybe it was unripe :)

so how have you tasted these, do you live in Africa,
or, you imported fig wasps ??

i read somewhere about someone with a Ficus auriculata tree
and commenting on the fruit, showing pics etc...
i didnt ask, but, i dont think he was in Africa, i think he was in the USA ?

I live in Asia. These are Asian Ficus species that you have mentioned. And those wasps are native to my area.
