Best antibacterial for cuttings

Some of my cuttings have gotten too much water, probably from dust in the moss.  I'm going to open them up, give them a cleaning and rewrap them with more airspace.  What's my best antibacterial?  Bleach, Peroxide or something else?  They're not moldy and I have some physan 20 for that if I need it.Thanks.

Peroxide can damage cells, so I would not use that. I know some members use a 1% bleach solution. I would just wash them with soap, rinse them and then dry them off. Bacteria cannot grow in conditions that are less than wet. I remember the saying "Sunlight is the best disinfectant" I think that would work well too and only take a minute.

I know everyone say you should CLEAN the cuttings, I never do. I rinse them once before putting them in the plastic bag, open the bag daily to check for roots and that's it. I believe a chemicals are bad for all plants. Some people just have luck just sticking the cuttings into the warm ground outside. I know it's alittle cool yet to try but you get the idea. This is just my idea, my thoughts. I'm not bashing anyone ideas by any means. So I hope none are take the wrong way, Frank
