Looks like the whos who of figs.  Thats amazing red color on the Vasilika Sika.  How is it's taste?  I'm hoping for a couple more Madeira but see that Mondays lows are forecast for 40 F.

Marius, I read where BD will split under rainy and high humidity conditions. You think in the Atlanta Ga area zone 8 it would do ok? We do have high humidity.

@TMC at what temp do they stop ripening?

Marius,
Thanks for the pictures. I noticed only one white (Vasilika Sika) made the list. Were there any others that were close to making it to the top?
  Thanks,
   Peter

A very nice display of figs.

Thanks.

Marius thanks for the pictures.
Madeira number #1  here as well.

Peter...i have to admit...Martin is right,black/dark figs are the best tasting figs.        Mike,Black Madeira likes hot, long summers with dry weather. This is BM after 3 days of rain...

They all look great, but I would like to know more about napoletana negra. I haven't heard of this variety before.

Looking great Marius. Fruit and the leaves of your Napolitana fig do resemble the Napolitana plant that I had. Mine was originated from Spain, not the BC nursery. Is yours originated from BC nursery or elsewhere?

Navid.

Marius,

Here's Black Madeira after one day (1.93") of rain in South-central Texas...right up there with Sal's Corleone.

Navid,Napoletana Negra is from Mallorca, Spain.

Thanks again Marius. Have been looking for this strain of Nap. fig since I lost mine. I might have to purchase a cutting or two of it from you latter this year.

Navid.

Marius, Nice selection of dark figs! They all look delicious. I'm jealous. This might be a repeated question but "Are your trees planted in ground or potted?"

How did the St. Rita taste? I am still waiting for mine to ripen and I would like to know what to look forward to.

WOW!!!! My mouth is watering, beautiful display.

Tonycm,i do have each varietie inground and potted in 18-35 gal pots. They perform much better in pots in zone 6.      Afigfan,St-Rita is something special in taste,jam/jelly with 100% berry flavor.

Quite a good nice looking fig collection you have there Marius.
My congrats...
