only leave end of the havaheart trap open with the peanut down by the closed end. this will force the squirrel to step on the pressure plate. works great with groundhogs too squirrels will chew through plastic netting
I cauget a couple squirrels and an oppossum with bruised sections of peaches and the pit. Also fig skins after I ate most of the insides. ;-) I have a couple of small apples I'm going try next. I have 2 sizes of have-a-heart and the squirrelinator.
