It's a young atreano from a 5 gallon pot.   The spot where I planted it  last April gets too much shade, so I'm going to move it about ten feet.   Tree is dormant.  The worst of our cold weather is probably behind us, but we'll still be getting a few nights with freezing temps for the next couple months.

Is now a good time?  We often get frosts as late as April, but if I wait till then, it will be starting to leaf out.

I think now is a great time.

Bob is right, now is the time to do it. I've dug up and moved lots of trees in the winter. I just have to wait for the ground to thaw before I do it.

I was thinking that too.   Thought I'd run it by you all first though.
