Best way to send cuttings

I am finally getting around to sending out some cuttings to those of you who have already requested- I am not able to accept any more requests this year.

As I was about to package them up, I realized I should ask you all:

What is the best way to send fig cuttings, at the least cost?

Any fear of them getting frozen on thier way to the US North East?

I will send them out as soon as you all confirm the best way to do it.

John,
USPS Priority Mail isn't the cheapest way to send them, but should get them where they are going a little faster.  Most folk are willing to pay for the option, or reciprocate in kind for a trade - at least I am, LOL.
The Post Office provides free Priority Boxes, but they are a little large.  I save Saran, wax paper, and aluminium foil boxes (with or without the tubes) and use those for shipping cuttings.
It should be OK to ship to the NE now, but a heads up e-mail or post when you ship will help.

John, I have had fig cutting put in a ziploc bag sent to me in Post Office mailers (enveopes stuffed with plastic material).  The postage was less than $2.00.  I do not know how much the mailers cost.

First class in ziplock bag is ok with me!!
