Beware dishonest Ebay seller

Folks beware of "harvest-clinic" on Ebay.

I bought a Lemon fig start from them and it came in an unsealed styrofoam cut that was crushed into a box less then half the width of the cup. Every leaf was spotted with some pathogen and either yellow or an unhealthy light green. The wet soil that spilled out of the cup made the box so soggy the post office stuck it into a thick plastic bag. The condition of the plant was just pathetic.

This is a case of a terrible and dishonest seller who knew they were being dishonest and just didn't care.

I'm not sure if they did this because they are just not capable of functioning honestly or if they did this on purpose because I told them I was contacting Edible Landscaping as they stole pretty much their entire ad from Mike down there in Afton (Edible Landscaping).

Anyway this is a dishonest seller that we should all avoid as if they are capable of this kind of nonsense they certainly can not be trusted.

Escalated and just waiting for Ebay to decide.

Hope it all works in your favor.
I have a 3 year old lemon fig. Killed to the ground this year
but Ill be happy to send cuttings this fall.
Good luck

Doug

keep us posted

Doug,
I have a large Lemon fig that's doing great.
I don't know how the buy buy buy fig demon got into my head that night but . . . it was only 11 bucks including shipping. I really like the Marseilles type figs and I remember thinking I could pleach this with a couple other Marseilles types. I recently took apart a couple of pleaches from 2 years ago and I got some interesting shapes. Just fooling with mother nature.
Anyway -- thx 4 the thought. mgg

Greg,
Nothing more I can do. Ebay will either refund my money or tell me tough t....tes. I will post.

Is the plant still alive? Do you still have it or did you return it?

Plants dead in trash. Never heard from seller.
Ebay gave me a full refund.
Glad to have my $11 back but don't get to give negative feedback.

harvest-clinic -- remember the name and beware.

Du we have a list of bad Ebay sellers?

LOL, must've been packed by the employee who just got fired.

What a headache indeed!
That's the good thing about eBay, or PayPal, they always try to be on buyer's side and protect.

Michael, you can still leave negative feedback. Go into the pull down menu of that auction in your purchased page and you will see leave feedback as an option.
