I bought 10 cuttings from him, they were listed as: Italian fig tree clippings freshly clipped this month. This is for 10 fresh organic clippings. The clipping come with complete instructions on propagation technique. They produce deep purple delicious figs with the parent tree from Italy.
They arrived on time, looked healthy, currently in moss and bags. The fruit picture on his ebay listing did not look like his, but like it was copied from another commercial fig growers site, but that did not turn me off. The instructions were simple, and not what I recommend, but what others have done but will not bad mouth him given no evidence to date. I will report later this year what they turn out to be. That is the risk of buying or swapping any cuttings, there is degree of trust that required. A simple posting of the picture of the dormant tree ( with trimmed branches!) most likely will calm most folks here - correct?
As with TyTy and others on any forum that have frauded people or have been careless or mis-spoke, as with any user takes advantage of any us, time will catch up with him. If they do not turn out as dark purple, then he will be reported, until then I have no complaints.
