This post is not about figs.  It's about a new grandson that is the fattest, yummiest figlet you could ever adore! 

I'll be missing soon, and JD and I will be flying to Cincinnatti.  We leave next Wednesday.  OMG!  I can't wait to snuggie up with this one!  My daughter says I need to work out!  He's heavy!!  11 lbs 5 oz.  LOL!!

One thing that makes any day better is taking my great-nieces out into the field.  The oldest one (just turned 3) knows it is pomegranate season.  She is asking for them whenever she visits.

Thanks to all of you for your congrats.  I am really happy about the birth of this baby from my only daughter.  Please keep him in your prayers that he stays on the straight and narrow.  He is too cute!

Is this your first grandchild, Suzi? I found out last week I will be a grandpa next April.

Ruben, this is the latest one, and the sweetest!  But how do you choose?  You can't!  The twin girls are 12 going on 19, and there are the other ones....  All perfect and good!  They are are our future!!  Just love that I can actually get my hands on this cutie pie in a week! 

Who on this earth wants to go to Cincinnatti, OH?  Just me because of little thee.

Congratulations ... :) Everybody in my family except for my mom were also born in September... I'd like to think of that as the result of New Year's celebration.. ;)

Plant a special fig tree in the child's honor...from a rooted cutting, so that the fig tree and the child are both the same age.
