BillsFigs 2014

Yeah, me too donated a $5 as charity benefiting MS for a pint of misc. fresh figs off the tree.
All were very delicious and tasted as 'true' figs do (Pl. do not ask me for any nonsense watermelon, any-berry, etc.,  flavors!).

In particular, there was a one rather large/flattish specimen fig fruit; light-green skin with light-amber pulp that attracted my attention.
Anybody got that and/or knows what it is? I want it my fig collection ...

Gorgi,
I remember seeing that fig in some of the bags being sold, and I also found the mother tree out in the orchard.  There were one or two not-quite-ripe figs on the tree -- they must have picked the ripe ones to sell/eat.  The thing that really struck me was the flawless look it had -- just perfect light-green skin with no brown discolorations.  Do you think that's the one you are talking about?
There's a small chance I'll be getting back up to Bill's for one of his pruning classes.  If so, I'll see if I can locate the tree and find out what it is.
Jim
