How large are the figs? I cannot tell from the photos.

They are between 42 to 56g plus. 

Nice-looking fig. Seems to be the honey-flavored type.

Nice looking figs!  I'm guessing the rounded one is about 1 1/4" wide.  Many of us include a coin or a 1" ring in the photo to help, like this:

 

I actually took a few with a quarter. I just have so many photos archived that it would take me a while to find it. Sorry guys, maybe next time. 

It's a very sweet juicy fig. Well worth the effort put in to grow it. 

I searched for other Binello photos and and found some that look very different from people outside CA.
It seems yours are pollinated to give that color, right? 
You can test the seeds if they sink.

Could possibly be. But then again I did seem to get lighter meat color from the ones cut before they where ripe. So it could possibly be many factors besides the added benefit of pollination. If you could be so kind to share those photos or links you are talking about.

Here you can see how a fig changes its physical characteristics as it ripens. Very easy to conclude that they are different or simply assume other factors play a role on its distinctiveness. Heck, I even post one with a quarter for those who want to get an idea of how big it gets.

They could possibly be pollinated. I have capri figs which get loaded with fig wasp! I actually uploaded a video on them. When you get a chance take a look at it. :)

A little OT, but it would be fun to have someone post a time-lapse of a ripening fig. That would really highlight the changes it goes through.

Dale, you should take it upon yourself to do it. It would be a very nice contribution on your part to the forum. After all it is your idea. I bet many would like to see your idea come to life. Does seem like fun. :)
