This is the Bisirri Dark almost ready to pick. Small dark and very good figs. This one was sold as a Dark, unlike the one in my other thread whcih is alsso a dark fig, but sold as a white.

Barry, could you possibly post a picture of the dominant leaf of both the dark and the white. I have a plant and would like to know which one I have. Thanks

Gene, I posted a pic of the leaves of the one sold to me as white. It is on another thread which I started yesterday. The fig is not white however, and it is not the Bisirri Dark that I was familiar with which has a smaller fruit. I'll get a better pic of the leaves from this one too.

Hey Barry, Are the leaves from the two different fig trees very simular? I bought 3 trees from them and the white was suppose to have basil tags in the soil. I called an asked them about leaf pattern, and response was all fig leaves look the same. Time will tell when the fruit gets ripe. What I'm suppose to have is 2 dark and 1 white. By your pictures, I have 3 dark or black.

Barry, Is the inside of the fig red? I am almost certain I have this also. I will have to check the leaves today

Good to see you again today. Thank you so much for that tree!! I still haven't picked it, but as I recall it's not red inside. Since you brought your leaves with you today we know this is the one you call Bisirri 2. It is a very good fig and I should be picking some tomorrow. I'll post a pic

I also posted these pics on my other Bisirri thread. Yes indeed Ricci, they are red inside. Here are both varieties, the 2 smaller figs are your number 2 and the larger one is your number 1
