Found some small figs for sale at Walmart. I saw a bunch but picked out 2 each Black Madera and Black Ischias. They were $9.98 each. They also had Aubique Noire and Malta. Check your local store. Cashier said folks been calling about them, but they have no knowledge on figs. I got mine!

I was yesterday at a nursery and bought a rdb ?!?

I'm supposed to have bought a "rouge de bordeaux" , which could be your "violet de bordeaux"
But on a nearby pot of rougedb I saw a burried label "ronde de bordeaux" ...

I hope I got what I wanted and that that tree won't turn out to be another joke ! and be the "ronde de bordeaux"

RDB here could stand for "ronde de bordeaux" or as well "Rouge de Bordeaux" .
I wanted to buy a "Rouge" not a "ronde" - and unless the tree was mislabelled, this is was I did - I bought a "ROUGE de Bordeaux".

Dennis, thanks for agreeing to pick mew up four of each and shipping them to me.  You can become friends with your Postmaster!!!  They will make great replacements for the ones I have sold.

If you prefer, you can just bring them with you on the plane when you come in August.  You can then make friends with some CDFA agents and their dog.  You are a nice guy and they will treat you well!
