Black Lebanese Fig Tree.

Hi.


Like to post some pictures of my BLACK Lebanese fig tree.

Picked it up recently, in it's first year with good growth and a small fig.

Hopefully the fig will ripen before the season's end.

Interestingly the fig has greenish stripes on it.
( not certain if they will remain, disappear, or darken. )

The Leaves are very interesting as there are five different shapes.

Don't know much more about it, other than the fact it is definitely a Black
Lebanese fig and not a RED Lebanese.

Any input is welcome.

BEST sneakers ever.

Lightweight and Comfortable.

It feels like you're wearing socks.

Another plus, is that they help me keep real quiet when I'm sneaking around
up on the roof.

On a 2nd look.

Is that an 'inverted' fig soon to be pocked through its
eye by a growing green shoot tip?
... or maybe it is just FMV? ...

Yes the fig in the picture was making a " U-Turn ' and growing back towards the bud.

Was worried about the bud getting deep into the eye but since the picture was taken the fig has cleared the bud.

I was also worried the " Witch ' curse had climbed the stairs and hit the roof . :(

No visible FMV on this plant as evident by the pictures.
