This may be the king of all figs. Definitely hard to beat.

Don't know the weight, but nearly 2" in diameter. Has enough flavor for 3-4 large regular figs.

I tried my first 2 Black Madiera figs and they are fantastic, full of great flavor!!!!!

Harvested my first Black Madiera and Barnisotte figs today. Both were very good.
BM had a lot of honey oozing form the from the eye, but I think Barnisotte was the
better tasting.

that the Black Madiera was the better one...

Well, they are both very good, but your wife obviously has the more refined tastebuds. ;-))

Remember the one you and I sampled last year at your place that was dark and red inside and tasted like a Peach?

I know you said you had it for several years and it was the first time to sampled it. Did it produce more figs this year? Are you making this available anytime soon?

Put me down for one if this is the case.
