Now that is one nice looking fig, if it tastes good then that is all that counts. BT, BM, Celeste, all the rest of the oldies are figs that I would never turn my nose up to, I like them all. After all, at one time during the life of a figger, these figs were classified as good, then amnesia or dementia sets in or takes over and..... you know the rest.

Looks great! Is that Black Mission made of Dark Chocolate? :) That baby is black as night on the inside - and I bet even sweeter than a regular Black Mission! Is Black Mission is unusual to find in the south and east coast? It's the one I find most common locally growing around here in Southern California - well that or Brown Turkey, and Kadota is probably 3rd most common here. Thanks for sharing!
