Black Spanish is a general term and depends on your source. There are probably 100's of black Spanish figs.
As an example, There is a Black Spanish that is being sold by One Green World. It was shipped to me while dormant and never came alive. Perhaps others could comment on this one.
The picture looks great, but you could never judge a fig by its photo. Some of the ugliest figs are also the most delicious.
